MOËT & CHANDON – EPERNAY (FRANCE)

Graziadio KSERIES 3200A feeding the Moet & Chandon’s factory in Epernay, the French commune in the Champagne-Ardenne department. Moët et Chandon is one of the world’s largest expansive champagne producer. Originally established in 1743 by Claude Moët when began shipping his wine from Champagne to Paris. At the end of XVIII century the export activity reached the United States. Today owns an area of 1,150 hectares of vineyards, and annually produces approximately 28,000,000 bottles of champagne. Dom Pérignon is the first prestige and the most famous brand produced by Moët et Chandon. The wine cellars are located under the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, extended for 28 km of underground tunnels. It is possible to visit the plant with a guided tour, including the wine-tasting in order to enhance the experience.
