New Iren headquarters in Genoa – Work is underway for the construction of the new Iren factory in the city of Genoa, in Piazza Raggi. This is the structure that will replace the former Poste Italiane building, behind the Genoa Brignole railway and underground station.
The works began in 2018 and the construction site is expected to be closed by the end of the year, while Iren Group has communicated that from the beginning of January the headquarters will become operational with the transfer of some employees.
The factory is located in the vicinity of the city center, near Borgo Incrociati, and is divided into 8 floors. The building aims to be a more modern environment, compared to the traditional working method, including shared spaces and flexible and smart working.
Graziadio joined the project too, with the supply of busbars for the electrical system installation. And, among our lines, the winner is: GLS!
With its amperage ranging from 25 to 63A, the GLS line is identified (like other products of our range) with a symbolic figure that represents it: the hummingbird.
This choice is not random; in fact, the line owns some specific characteristics that we can also find in this little animal:
- lightness: thanks to its external aluminum covering
- speed: during installation, it can be assembled quickly and easily thanks to the quick-fit joints, which allow you to join multiple bars by interlocking. Property that satisfies, among other things, the need to reduce construction times
- minimal dimensions: the line is compact and takes up little space
The line, thanks to its small size, was installed in the subfloor of the structure. In this way, it can transport energy effectively and in an “invisible” way.
Other advantages?
It owns an IP55 protection rating, which indicates that it is particularly suitable for installation in all those environments that may be characterized by humidity. This feature is excellent for the Iren project, since the new structure is located near Bisagno river, along the right bank.
The new Iren headquarters in Genoa will be able to count on a product that optimally responds to the aims of avant-garde, innovation and modernity.
