New Pediatrics in Padua: work is proceeding at a rapid pace on the construction site of the new hospital being built in Padua.
The first project was launched in December 2022 and now, after 16 months, the structure is almost complete, with work scheduled to finish in the summer of 2025.
With an initial cost of 52 million euros, 40 meters high, divided into 9 floors and with a surface area of 20,000 square metres, the New Pediatrics dedicated to care and health of the little ones will offer 157 beds, 8 intensive care places and 5 dialysis stations.
It will replace the previous structure, whose construction dates back to the 1950s, with rooms that were too small and cramped and very often unsuitable for the various needs.
Now the new Paediatrics, part of the Giustiniani Centre, promises to be one of the most cutting-edge structures in Europe, with latest generation facilities and means to guarantee modern and optimal care.
In this important project, we supplied our busbars:
- ISOLSBARRA 2500 A for the transport of electrical current between transformers and panels
GDA 250 and 400 A, for vertical electricity distribution
The new Paediatrics will be part of the new Mother and Child Hospital, currently under design, and the new hospital complementary to the one in via Giustiniani will be built in the East Padua area.
The region will thus be able to count on a double hospital centre. “A dream taking shape” announced the President of the Veneto Region Luca Zaia, and we are pleased to have taken part.
